Dhewa wows Beitbridge

But it was Dhewa who left the fans clamouring for more when Utakataka Express took to the stage.

Too Open, who certainly had their fair share of thrills, wowed the crowd with a polished act.
The band has become popular among Beitbridge revellers.

Later, Dhewa who is battling cancer, took to the stage around 6pm and rocked music lovers who braved the chilly night temperatures.
The Kwekwe-based singer kept the fans on their feet throughout the show with the popular “Sele” and “Officer” dances.

Some of the songs, which drove the fans into a frenzy, included “Muchina Muhombe”, “Muridzi Wenyaya”, “Tsamba” and “Toita Basa”.

Dhewa was in the border town courtesy of Aerowise Entertainment and it was his second gig in the town this year.
Show organiser Lovemore Chonzi described the event as a success adding that they had more family shows lined up until the end of the year.
