Dhuterere, Freeman in Love Shouldn’t Hurt concert

Talented gospel singer, Mambo Dhuterere, headlines the Mai Hondo Annual Soccer Tournament running this weekend under the theme ‘Love shouldn’t hurt’.

He will perform tomorrow (Saturday) at the spacious grounds for free from 3pm.

 

The husky-voiced musician who entered the gospel music scene with a bang following the release of plug track, ‘Mweya Ndisesekedze’, is currently riding high with chartbuster album, ‘Nadah Pachiputukezi’ which features sing-along tracks such as, ‘Kuchema rudo’, ‘Dzikisa munyengetero’, ‘Mupei Mukana’ and ‘Vana Sanibharati’.

Zim dancehall sensation, Slyvester Chizanga, fondly known as Freeman, will entertain scores of people set to attend the Mai Hondo Soccer Annual Tournament co-hosted at the school situated in Sakubva.

 

The lanky musician has promised fireworks, saying he will play some of the songs contained on his forthcoming album due for release before the end of the year.

 

He will perform from 3pm. He is popular for songs such as ‘Zimbabwean Queen’, featuring Chris Martin, ‘Vakomana Vedrip’, ‘Robbery’ and ‘Chitsike’.

Bako Nite Club

Bubbly Zim dancehall artiste, Mad Viper, who is on a countrywide tour, takes his performance to Mutare tonight where he will perform at the spacious watering hole situated in Sakubva. Popular for hits such as ‘Zvandinotemba’, ‘Kata Kata’, ‘Zvimba’ and ‘Uyu’, the dreadlocked musician will be backed by local and upcoming Zim dancehall artiste, Jimbo Massive, Sweeter Bee, Edge Sparta, T Freaky and Lady Popa, among others.

Club Mandisa

The entertainment joint which is now exclusively for strip tease entertainment, tonight hosts 14 professional strip teasers from Victoria Falls, Gweru, Beitbridge and Harare in shows dubbed ‘Exotic Night’.

 

They will perform for the whole weekend starting tonight. Every Wednesdays, DJs Lampy and Mshez headline the Mad Wednesday pleasure.

MiCasa

DJs Frazer and Terminator take turns to entertain revellers this weekend with the DJs jamming an assortment of old and new school music till the wee hours of Sunday morning. Jazz crooner, Steve Chikotie, who now performs with several instrumentalists take over the Sunday Jazz Night as patrons wrap up the packed weekend.

 

This and every Wednesday, local group Just Friends entertain imbibers with a live reggae band.
