Dinner aims to conscientise, empower Christian women

HARVEST House International church will on Friday host a ladies dinner meant to conscientise women on empowerment. The dinner will be held at Crowne Plaza from 5.30 pm to 8pm. Small and Medium Enterprises and Co-operative Development Minister Sithembiso Nyoni, will be the guest of honour.
Women Excel non executive director, Ms Priscilla Munyeza, who is head of corporate banking at one of the leading banks is expected to address the meeting.
Pastor Nomasonto Tuturu said the dinner was being organised by Maximized Lyfestyle International, a women oriented group in the church to uplift women.  
The dinner is going to be held under the theme: “Empowering a Godly woman is empowering the whole nation”.
“We want women to get exposed to issues of empowerment and to know how they can access funding and that is why we have invited Minister Nyoni to speak,” she said.
“The dinner will also create opportunities for networking among women especially those in small businesses.”
Pastor Tuturu said the dinner would cost US$50 per head with the proceeds directed at preparing for the church’s ladies conference set for June this year.
