The Diplomats Forum on its fourth edition at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) has been applauded as a significant platform that has helped the government push its re-engagement drive meant to attract and cultivate good business and relations with other countries.

The much-anticipated indaba will be held at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre on 25 April (Thursday) running under the theme “Crafting a Global Landscape of Resilience and Innovation: Strategies for International Competitiveness.”

The Forum which is a collaboration between ZITF and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, was created in 2021 as a way of allowing influential delegates to convene and explore trade and investment prospects in Zimbabwe at the same time fostering stronger relations between the nation and its global allies.

This year’s edition will officially be opened by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Frederick Shava. The Diplomats Forum is expected to increase cooperation for strong national alliances and promote the breadth and quality of investment opportunities in and around the country.

ZITF board chairperson Busisa Moyo said over 200 members of the diplomatic corporations, development body representatives as well as business leaders are expected to grace this year’s edition, with the aim to expand access to a global exchange of ideas and knowledge.
