A 27-YEAR-OLD man from Seke, Chitungwiza, has refused to let his disability cripple his dreams and is now into acting, singing as well video and photo shoots.
He has a genetic disorder that affects hemoglobin production causing red blood cells to be crescent-shaped and rigid.
It can affect the way a person talks and can make it difficult for a person to develop physically.
Archford ‘Boss Bhonzo’ Mazambani, is pursuing his dreams.
He is working with Malon T, a music producer, who recorded most of Boss Bhonzo’s songs.
In an interview with H-Metro, Boss Bhonzo said:
“By acting and singing, l keep myself busy so that l will avoid being involved in drugs, stealing or even being useless.
“I am pursuing what I always wanted to do and, although we do not have sponsors, l am trying on my own so that l can get a Visa card and try and get some money through YouTube where l upload my videos.
“Drug abuse has affected many youths in the ghetto.
“I believe if l do skits about the subject, some people will stop using drugs since the drugs are destroying the future of our young generation.”
Archford has always been passionate about what he does and this has already seen him connecting with the likes of Boi Shona and Hwindi Prezident.
