Disrespectful son taken to court

MTHABISI Ndebele (34) lost respect for his father Kisimisi Ndebele (84) and developed a habit of insulting him.

Ndebele said his son, Mthabisi, had become ungovernable and was disturbing his peace by constantly insulting him in front of family members and also threatening to burn his car.

a?Mthabisi is my last born child and has his own family staying at my house. Of late he has shown no respect as he shouts at me and breaks windows.

a?He uses abusive language and chases other children away from my house,a? said Ndebele.

The old man also revealed that he now feared for his life as his son was always threatening to burn his car and at one time damaged his sisteras car.

It also came out that the Ndebele family now knows no peace because of Mthabisias rebellious behaviour and therefore his father told the court that he wanted him out of his house.

a?Your honour, I pray that you remove Mthabisi from my premises so that we can have peace and he should start buying food for his two children and wife,a? said Ndebele.

When Mthabisi was given a chance to respond to the allegations, he confirmed the allegations and was not apologetic for his actions saying his father discriminates him from other children.

The magistrate Tancy Dube granted the protection order in favour of Ndebele and his son was ordered to move out of the house with immediate effect.
