AFRO-JAZZ diva, Edith “Mwana Weshonga” Manyika, said she has dedicated her second album titled Mira to women who are finding it hard to hold on.

She said she was in the studio for the past few months recording irresistible songs which will give music lovers something to think about.

The album carries eight tracks which are Bvunza, Ruzvidzo, Muchazvirega, Munhukadzi Wakakosha, Iwewe Chete, Mira, Kuti Zvibatane and Usabvume.

The album was released 10 days ago and has been making waves on social media.

She released her debut album titled Chipo Chevanhu in February this year and followed it up with a single titled Munhukadzi Wakakosha.

Speaking to H-Metro, Mwana Weshonga, said her songs encourage women to hold on.

“The message the album carries is simply telling someone to hold on, to be patient and to never lose hope in anything you are hoping for.

“Keep that hope alive, prepare yourself and when the time is right everything will fall into place,” said Mwana Weshonga.
