LATE gospel musician, Diva Mafunga, will be buried today in Mt Darwin.
He died Monday morning on his way from Bulawayo.
Family spokesperson, Minister Kapeza, said all was set for burial.
“Diva Mafunga will be buried in Mt Darwin on Friday.
“As is the norm, his body was taken to his Chitungwiza home from the parlour and to his rural home, awaiting burial, on Friday.
“We have lost a family pillar and father figure in the family,” he said.
Born Davius Mafunga in 1973, the Endai Naizvozvo singer has been described as a legend and creative genius.
He is famed for such albums as Endai Naizvozvo, released in 2003, Fambai Nekutenda (2004), Pfuurirai Mberi (2005) and Ndicharamba Ndichidana (2007).
He was regular performer at musical galas.
Mafunga is survived by his three children.
