Ingrosso, head of Refune Records and one-third of global electronic superstars Swedish House Mafia, announced his international partnership with Miller Genuine Draft last month and is now searching worldwide via his website for fans to be part of his headline appearance at the Highline Ballroom on June 10.
“Reload” is the hotly anticipated dance floor anthem that sees Ingrosso team up with Australian DJ and rising star Tommy Trash and features the distinctive vocals of long-time Swedish House Mafia lyrical collaborator John Martin.
The download version of the track was released in various European territories from last week.
The track has gained 400 000 listens on YouTube since April and is receiving huge backing with BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe selecting it as his “Hottest Record” and Pete Tong picking it as his “Essential New Tune”.
Originally released as an instrumental version last year, the new “Reload” single is set to lift dance floors around the globe this summer.
The final night of the Miller Music Tour forms a key part of a thrilling collaboration that will give fans from around the world the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to feature in the live video for “Reload”.
The show at the Highline Ballroom will be the first time that Ingrosso has returned to play New York since his epic four-night sellout show at the Barclays Centre and Madison Square Garden with Swedish House Mafia.
Discussing the latest twist in his partnership with Miller Genuine Draft, Ingrosso said: “New York is one of my favourite cities in the world and I’m really excited to play an exclusive show for Miller at the iconic Highline Ballroom.
“Not only that but I get to invite my fans to come and experience it with me and we’ll be filming a special live video for the new single, ‘Reload’. It should be something really special!”
As tickets will not be open to general sale, Ingrosso is giving fans the chance to win exclusive entry to the headline show on the final night of the Miller Music Tour.
