DJ Stavo whose real name is Steven Sanders recently collaborating with Jah Prayzah, on a single that is set to hit the airwaves soon Stavo who has collaborations with local and international artists said the new track “Simudza Ngoma” will make an impact on the local scene. “Working with different artists has been working for me.“I have had several collaborations that made waves in and outside the country and that has not stopped me from doing more collaborations,” he said.
He said they have done everything to ensure that song that will be accompanied by a video will hit the market soon.
“We have done our homework on the song and very soon it will hit the streets. We are optimistic that it will make an impact,” he said.
Jah Prayzah manager Keen Mushapaidze said the outfit was happy to have collaborated with Stavo.
“Collaborations are another way of showing artistic prowess and that collaboration is set to make waves on the market,” he said.
He hailed Stavo for being a hardworking DJ who is determined to bring artists together.
Stavo worked with Oliver Mtukudzi on song “Mwedzi Muchena” that got fair air play from several radio stations.
He paid tribute to music fans for accepting his music.
“We have videos and songs that are getting rave reviews from thousands of viewers and listeners on different social media platforms. It is quite encouraging because as artists we work to please our market,” he said.
Stavo said he was currently working on modalities to have the collaboration aired on several channels.
DJ Stavo has released other videos like “Ingoma” featuring Shota, “Teka Famba” featuring Fista Black and “Mnandi” featuring Mandoza.
