Djokovic through to semis

Defending champion Novak Djokovic made short work of Marin Cilic to move into the semi-finals at Wimbledon. The Serbian top seed and world number one survived a five-set battle spanning two days with Kevin Anderson to reach the last eight.

But Cilic’s big serve did not cause him as many problems on Centre Court and Djokovic beat the Croat 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in one hour and 49 minutes. Djokovic will play either Stan Wawrinka or Richard Gasquet in the semi-finals. – BBC Sport.
