ORGANISERS of the Doek & Slay women-only parties are targeting having more shows on the international market.
According to this year’s calendar, Doek & Slay parties will be held in the United Kingdom, Zambia and Botswana.
The UK party is set for September.
After the end-of-year break, the Doek & Slay parties will return in April.
The parties will be held in Kadoma on March 30, Mutare on April 6, Harare on April 13, Bulawayo on April 27 and Gweru on May 4.
Between August and October, the parties will move to the UK, Zambia and Botswana.
The grand mega show will be held in Harare on December 14.
Since its birth in 2023, the Doek & Slay parties have attracted tens of thousands of faithful patrons.
The last mega show at Alex Sports Club attracted an estimated 23 000 women last month.
It was a record attendance for these unique women-only parties.
The mega show now appears to attract women from all over the country and they come with placards celebrating their home towns.
Strangers have become sisters while mothers have created memories, which will last for a lifetime, after attending the shows in the company of their daughters.
