Dominican Convent pupils spread holiday spirit

In the true spirit of Christmas, Dominican Convent Primary School in Bulawayo held their annual Christmas Carols celebration at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre (ZIEC) recently.

The event was a resounding success, with the young learners showcasing their talent and spreading the festive cheer.
The Early Childhood Development (ECD) class took centre stage as they presented a heart-warming re-enactment of the birth of Jesus, staying true to the biblical narrative.

Dressed in beautiful costumes that accurately portrayed each character, the young performers captivated the audience with their attention to detail.

Some children were dressed as angels, adding an ethereal touch to the performance.

Other learners also took part in the festivities, delighting the crowd with their renditions of popular Christmas carols.

Timeless classics such as Feliz Navidad, Silent Night and Joy to the World echoed through the venue, filling the atmosphere with joy and excitement.

The children’s voices harmonised perfectly, showcasing their dedication and hard work in preparation for the event.

The celebration was nothing short of magical. The children, adorned in vibrant red dresses, traditional outfits, red and white outfits, and pink attire, brought a burst of colour to the occasion.

Their infectious smiles and jubilant spirits created an ambiance that made it feel like Christmas had already arrived.

The young performers were clearly elated to be part of such a special event. Their faces radiated happiness as they sang and danced, fully embracing the festive spirit. The joy and enthusiasm displayed by the children was contagious, spreading among the audience and filling the hearts of all those in attendance.

Parents, teachers, and guests were moved by the dedication and talent exhibited by the learners.
