DON DADA SUBMITS DOUBLE ALBUM FOR GRAMMY CONSIDERATION

SOUTH Africa-based reggae and hip-hop artist Menelik “Don Dada” Gibbons, has submitted his double album for a Grammy consideration.

The double album is titled ‘The Heart and The Mind.

They express and tackle moments in life where the heart and mind become immensely opposing forces.

In an interview with H-Metro, Don Dada said it was a big deal for his project to be up for a Grammy consideration.

“My latest project ‘The Heart and The Mind’ has been submitted for a Grammy consideration and we are now pushing it to get through the first round of consideration.

“This such a big thing and amazing to have your project up for a Grammy consideration,” he said.

The Heart reggae album is a mixer of different sounds with songs like “Memories,” “No Love,” “Fire & Water” and “Ghetto”.

The albums featured South African producers like SuperProducer Rapz, Rashid Lanie, TipsyT and LwaziHipHop411.

It also featured Jamaican engineers – Delroy Thompson and Bernard ‘Touter’ Harvey.

In 2016, Don Dada made a debut appearance at the prestigious 2016 Mandela Day Concert in Johannesburg.

Don Dada is also a motivational speaker, radio host and an events Master of Ceremony.
