AFRO pop and reggae artist, Doubles wekwaMarange, is optimistic after being nominated for three gongs in the Manicaland Creative Awards.
Doubles was nominated in the Best Male Artist, Best Collabo And Best Afro Pop Artist categories.
The awards ceremony will be held next month.
In an interview, Doubles – real name Decide Razerera Marange – said he deserves the nominations.
“I am so happy to be nominated in these three categories.
“It shows that my music has an impact on the targeted audiences and people are appreciating my art.
“I believe I deserve this award because I have put in so much effort in everything I do every day, these nominations are testimony to that,” he said.
Doubles promised his fans more music this year.
“As usual, I am a hard worker, so they should expect more from me this year.
“This is just the beginning.
“I have a collaboration with one of the best artists in the country which is coming soon,” he said.
