PHILANTHROPIST and Harare medical practitioner, Doctor Johannes Marisa, has lost his mother.
Gogo Jessica Svunurai Marisa died yesterday, after a long illness, at Westview Clinic, Kuwadzana.
She was 75.
According to her eldest son, Isaiah Marisa, the family was gutted by their mother’ death.
“We are gutted following the death of Gogo Marisa.
“She gave birth to 11 children.
“Five of my siblings died and we are now six after four girls and one boy died.
“Our medical doctor, Johannes Marisa, was her ninth child.
“She died in Kuwadzana at Westview Clinic,” he said.
Mourners are gathered at Plot 339, Reinham Estates, Harare.
Gogo Marisa will be buried at a family plot at No. 83 Alben Rule Farm in Mhondoro-Ngezi, Kadoma.
