IMAGINE a group of Dynamos fans singing a song calling for the return of Lloyd ‘MaBlanyo’ Chigove as head coach of the club?
The very coach they wanted dismissed just three years ago?
Well, that’s what happened at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday.
After their team’s 0-1 defeat at the hands of Ngezi Platinum Stars, a group of DeMbare fans converged at the giant stadium and started a song calling for the return of MaBlanyo.
Now, that shows the desperation at the Glamour Boys. That MaBlanyo was the same coach, who was in charge of the DeMbare youth team, which was disqualified for age cheating at the Marvelous Nakamba tournament, did not matter to these fans.
They want him because they believe he could be the answer to their challenges.
But, that wasn’t all on a crazy afternoon.
The DeMbare fans even borrowed a leaf from their CAPS United counterparts and cheered the Ngezi Platinum players.
On Saturday, at the same stadium, the Makepekepe fans turned against their team, after a 0-1 defeat to Yadah Stars, and cheered the victorious Miracle Boys.
