‘Drive Africa economies through innovation’

the Apps4Africa 2012 in Kampala, Uganda, US Ambassador to Uganda Scott H. DeLisi, called upon all African innovators to change the continent’s technology advancement for the betterment of people’s lives.

DeLisi said technology forms a strong economic force to create job opportunities and improve majority communities presently living in abject poverty.

The awards, dubbed Africa-wide competition are jointly sponsored by Appfrica International with the assistance of the US government.
