The alleged mastermind behind the recent US$600 000 robbery at a Harare central business district shop owned by former Zimbabwe Warriors team manager and Dynamos chairman, Rafiq Adam, has been remanded in custody until July 16.

Samson Gora (35), employed as a driver by Adam’s company, Merchantman Enterprises, is facing robbery charges.

He was instructed to seek bail at the High Court by Harare regional magistrate, Mr Donald Ndirowei.

Gora is the first suspect to be apprehended in connection with the high-profile case.

He claims he was only given US$10 000 as his portion, which he used to buy a car, among other things.
