He was remanded in custody to April 10.Prosecutor, Mr Tawanda Munjanja told the court that on the day in question, Master was behaving weirdly.

He ate a raw chicken head that still had its feathers on.

Master then undressed before pouring boiling water on the minor whose age is yet to be ascertained.

“Master came home drunk with a broiler chicken which he slaughtered after instructing one of his nephews to boil some water.

“He ate the uncooked chicken head, while the chicken that still had its feathers was cut into pieces. His wife reprimanded him. He was angered by the reprimand and became violent.

“He took a tin of boiling water and poured it on the complainant and he sustained serious burns. Master was on the police wanted list for another case of insult,” said Mr Munjanja.
