Dry conditions expected

Herald Reporter

THE Meteorological Services Department (MSD) has issued a warning about relatively dry and hot conditions affecting most parts of the country, with a decline in rainfall activity expected.

This dry spell is anticipated from tomorrow up to December 11.

According to the MSD, “a cool moist south-easterly airflow should reduce the occurrence of thunderstorm activities” starting today.

However, light rain and drizzle should be experienced in Matabeleland South and Masvingo provinces tomorrow.

From Sunday onwards, generally mostly sunny and hot conditions are expected across the country, although “very isolated cloudy and light showers cannot be ruled out”, said the MSD.
