admindenouncing his Zimbabwean citizenship.
Moyo (40) was convicted on his own plea of guilt to contravening section 23 of the Citizenship Act when he appeared before Harare magistrate Mr Donald Ndirowei.
The Act prohibits dual citizenship.
Mr Ndirowei remanded him to October 25 for sentencing on US$100 bail.
Prosecutor Mr Innocent Chingarande told the court that on October 14 this year, Moyo intended to leave for the United Kingdom via Ethiopia aboard airline number ET873.
Detectives manning the Airport picked information that Moyo was in possession of numerous passports.
The detectives confronted Moyo over the passports and he was found in possession of three passports.
He was found with a Zimbabwean passport AN261485 that was issued on July 8 in 2001 and expired on July 7 in 2011.
He also had a diplomatic passport number AD003471 while the third was a British passport number 111769294 that was issued on May 5 in 2010.
Mr Chingarande said investigations revealed that Moyo first used the British passport on July 23 last year while his Zimbabwean passport (AN261485) was still valid.
