The veteran administrator believes the team will fare well in all the competitions.
Dube will be an official together with Christine Gunundu and Rhoda Muridzo during the week-long tour.
“Generally, the team is good and we look forward to having a good run in the tournament,” Dube said.
“There are no major changes to the team as they have been worked together, which gives the players confidence.
“I think the players’ strengths and weaknesses were corrected during the preparations for the prestigious tournament.
“The selection committee did a splendid job by coming up with the team and we hope all will go on well.” The teams are made up mostly of seasoned golfers who have played in several international events.
The team’s manager, Muridzo, was also confident of bringing the trophy home.
“We have played most of the players and we know what we can do. The team we have is a strong one and we are looking forward to bringing the trophy back home.
“As a former national team player I am very confident that the team will have a good go against the opponents. The preparations went on well from the start until they left so they are just focusing on the game.”
The team returns to the G and P tourney where they finished second last year in Zambia.
