Dunlop, Brooks Tennis tournament on cards

time and it has attracted players from five provinces who will battle it out on the clay courts.
The provinces to take part are Bulawayo, Masvingo, Manicaland, Harare and Midlands.
Cornwell Mutetwe, the chairman of Harare Province, said the camp was open to all the players in the province.
“We have started our provincial camp and we want to make sure that we play many games so that we can identify areas which need improvements.
“All our provincial players are welcome to our camp.
“We have a huge turnout of players for the camp but we are going to select the final squad of 24 players who will the represent Harare at the tournament. We have roped in Lazarus Manjoro, the South Africa-based coach, to help us in training the players, ”said Mutetwa.
The junior competition for Under-18 Boys and Girls started in 1957 in memory of Frank Brooks who contributed immensely to the development of tennis in Zimbabwe.
