Duo nabbed for attempted murder

A DUO from Mahatshula North suburb in Bulawayo has been nabbed for allegedly stabbing their neighbour on the chest and the left elbow over an undisclosed issue.

Thatho Ndlovu (18) and Mthabisi Bhebhe (19) were arraigned before Bulawayo regional magistrate Joseph Mabeza facing a charge of attempted murder. They pleaded not guilty to the charge and were remanded to Friday for continuation of trial.

Allegations against the duo are that on 4 November 2024 at around 7 pm, the duo went to their neighbour, Nhlanhla Sibanda’s house.

A misunderstanding over an unknown issue ensued and they stabbed the victim with an unknown object on the left elbow and once on the left side of the chest.

The matter was reported to the police and investigations were carried out leading to the arrest of the duo.

The victim was referred to the hospital for medical examination and a medical report can be produced in court as evidence.
