DYNAMOS MISS OUT ON TITLE RACE

Dynamos scrambled a goalless draw against Simba Bhora in a Castle Lager Premiership match at Barbourfields on Sunday, failing to capitalise on leaders Highlanders’ defeat at FC Platinum on Saturday.

The leadership at Dynamos believes they have a chance in the title race and they would have loved victory against the Premiership newcomers and reduce gap to six points.

However, they could only settle for a goalless draw on a cold afternoon, a repeat of their reverse fixture at the National Sports Stadium early in the season.

The result also ended interim coach, Genesis Mangombe’s 100% record after taking over from Herbert Maruwa.

At Gibbo Stadium, Manica Diamonds also failed to capitalise on Highlanders’ defeat as they drew 1-1 with Herentals.

Manica Diamonds, who could only reduce Bosso’s lead to five points, went into the break leading 1-0 but Herentals restored parity in the second half.

In Sunday’s final fixture, Yadah ended a losing run with a comfortable 2-0 victory over newcomers Sheasham at the Baobab Stadium.
