DYNAMOS’ failure to settle their debt with Motor Action returned to haunt them yesterday when the Deputy Sheriff visited their offices and attached some property. The Messenger of Court raided the DeMbare offices at the National Sports Stadium during lunch-break yesterday at the advice of Eric Rosen who is still owed some money by Dynamos from a 2011 deal involving striker William Kupera.
The Mighty Bulls are claiming US$8 000 from the reigning champions Dynamos for Kupera, who never made an impact during his stint at DeMbare.
Dynamos chairman Kenny Mubaiwa said the deal was done four years ago and he was surprised by Rosen’s latest move.
“Dynamos had a deal with Motor Action but it did not materialise as the player involved never kicked the ball for our club,” Mubaiwa said.
Mubaiwa said Kupera came to Dynamos before his executive assumed office.
“We do not even know where Kupera is and he never made a contribution to us,” added Mubaiwa.
The attached furniture included office chairs, desks and a computer while the DeMbare trophies were spared.
In April 2013, Dynamos were issued with a court order to pay US$8 000 as transfer fees for Kupera to Motor Action.
