DYNAMOS Queens are officially back.
This is in line with CAF requirements that every top-flight club should have a women’s side.
The club held a developmental meeting, chaired by committee member for development, Clemence Chambati.
The women’s executive, junior executive, coaches, and players were unveiled.
Dynamos development committee treasurer, Tafara Madhara, said a vibrant senior, junior and female teams were now the hallmarks of a successful club in the evolution of football worldwide.
“The most exciting thing is we have a new leadership, which is a listening executive.
“They have created a smooth movement between the main team and the juniors.
“They can articulate our issues to sponsors, and other stakeholders.
“We are hopeful that we will get sponsorship, particularly for our queens and also the juniors.
“It has always been our vision that we should align with FIFA licensing requirements.
“It’s a long-term vision actually, and this is what should be done in football.
“There should be a way to make our juniors flourish.
“The girls have been training at Harare High School but we are going to deploy scouts around the country to hunt for players for our queens,” he said.
Dynamos Queens’ manager, Immaculate Matawu, said:
“I am very excited. The world now knows that Dynamos Queens exist.
“We want the team to be number one in Zimbabwe.
“We advise these girls about the dangers of drug and substance abuse.
“I wish all teams, especially the coaches, can tell players to abstain from drug and substance abuse.
“I am looking forward to more stakeholders partnering with the queens and bolstering our game.”
