Dziva appointed as housing director

CHINHOYI Municipality has appointed Shylet Dziva as substantive housing director following a directive by the Local Government Board (LGB).

The local authority had been operating without a substantive housing director for the past two years; the then incumbent, Timothy Maregere, was appointed permanent secretary of the Mashonaland Central Provincial and Devolution Ministry.

Town planner, Hilda Tsitsi Kabangure, had been the acting housing director.

Dzivai told H-Metro that she had been offered the post, but “I am yet to respond to the offer. I am still considering it”.
