DZIVARASEKWA accident death toll has risen to eight.
In a statement, national police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi reiterated that drivers should exer-cise caution on the roads and observe all road rules and regulations to safeguard human lives.
Seven of the eight victims, who were identified by their next of kin, have been named while one of the vic-tims is yet to be identified.
Zedi Chikomo of Dzivaresekwa 4, Harare, Mary Round of Dzivaresekwa 3, Harare, Nyarai Meki of Dzivarasekwa 3, Harare, Sophia Machamba of Dzivaresekwa 3, Harare, Enock Chanengeta of Dzivaresekwa 3, Harare, Blessing Banda of Dzivaresekwa 3, Harare and Takudzwa Musekiwa of Dzivaresekwa 3, Harare.
“The body yet to be identified is at Sally Mugabe mortuary awaiting post mortem while the 11 injured victims are admitted at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.
“The Police assures the public that investigations are continuing in this sad road traffic accident,” said Comm Nyathi.
The Kombi driver Guylord Hunda, 27, is among the injured people.
