Early Christmas present Jabula Inn to hold gig of the year

In an interview, director of Jabula Inn, Jorum Moyo, said this show is meant for music lovers who have been supporting them.
“I am presenting this show as an early Christmas to our patrons for their support during the year,” he said.

Moyo said this year he decided to fuse local and foreign talent as a way of promoting local talent which is not being given a platform to prove what they are worth.
“We want to encourage music fans to appreciate our local talent in Zimbabwe so this time we have invited Patricia to perform alongside Sandra and Jeys.
“We hope if we give our local guys such a platform they will grow as they will be learning a lot from people like Patricia,” he said.

Moyo said Patricia was cleared by the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe and everything was in place.
“As promoters we say charity begins at home, so it is our responsibility to support local talent.
“Patricia was supported by South African promoters, so that is now our assignment to support our own artistes to be like her,” said Moyo.

He said Jabula Inn would pitch up a tent so that fans would not be disturbed by rains.
“Jabula Inn has just organised a tent for the show and fans should come in their large numbers.”

Moyo said Jeys Marabini has confirmed he would play some of the songs from his latest album that he recorded in South Africa.
“Jeys has shown signs of maturity in his music and he has just promised to play most of his songs from his album that he recorded in South Africa.” He said Majalisa is also going to have an opportunity to

play some of those songs that are popular in shebeens. Moyo said Christmas is a time of giving and this show is what he is giving music fans, so they should come in their large numbers and enjoy with other music lovers.
