AMBITIOUS Zifa Eastern Region Division One side Eastern Stars face a tough clash against Surrey Abattoirs at Rudhaka tomorrow.
Eastern Stars are sitting in second place and have the same number of points as leaders Buffalo Junior, but have an inferior goal difference.
Elisha Mukusa, the Eastern Stars head coach, said they were aware of the quality that runs in their opponents, Surrey Abattoir.
“I know we will be playing a seasoned side, but that will not deter us as we have been doing well in our previous outings,” Mukusa said.
“We want to win at all costs and our record is good as we have managed to get the better of some seasoned teams.
“We hope for a top four finish and I am happy with the confidence the players are showing with each passing game.
“We are using the players who helped us gain promotion from Division Two and they have shown a lot of character since the season begun.”
Eastern Stars have won four games and lost two.
The Kotwa-based team beat Gaza Gunners 1-0 in their last encounter.
Clayton Gunstelio scored the priceless goal.
Surrey fell to their first defeat of the season when they lost to Buffalo Junior last week.
