Ecocash dividend payment option for Ecocash  shareholders

ECONET Wireless Zimbabwe has declared a US$15 million interim dividend giving shareholders an option to be paid through the EcoCash platform.

The interim dividend of 0.55 cents per share is for the year ended February 29, 2024.

Reads part of the notice to shareholders, “The dividend will be payable on or about 3 April 2024 to all shareholders of the company registered as at the close of business on 28 March 2024.

“The shares of the company will be traded cum-dividend on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange up to the market day of 25 March 2024 and ex-dividend from 26 March 2024.”

The firm said shareholders can elect to be paid via Ecocash to provide an expedient and convenient service.
