Econet Wireless Zimbabwe has kicked off its 2024 Christmas Promotion under the theme “iJoy Afta Joy.”
The promotion, which runs until February 28, 2025, promises to deliver exciting and life-changing prizes worth over US$350,000 to lucky customers across the country who recharge with at minimum US$5 every week.
The announcement, made through its breaking advertising campaign over the weekend, reveals that the promotion will include weekly draws offering cash prizes, airtime and mobile devices.
It says customers who recharge with at least US$5 each week will automatically qualify for the draws, while consistent participation throughout the campaign period secures entry into the grand draw.
According to the campaign, the grand draw, set for February 2025, will see lucky winners walking away with major prizes, including four smart houses – equipped with solar systems and state-of-the-art security features – four brand-new cars, eight solar kits, smartphones, stoves, and much more.
“Buy a smartphone from any Econet Shop and win big,” one of the adverts reads, while another urges customers to “Subscribe to SmartBiz and win big.”
Now in its fifth year, Econet’s Christmas Promotion has become a staple of the festive season in the recent past, transforming the lives of some Econet customers.
Last year’s edition saw eight lucky winners receiving fully equipped smart homes, while thousands more walked away with smartphones, solar kits, airtime, and other prizes.
Building on this tradition and momentum, the 2024 campaign is set to spread joy and reward loyalty.
