President Mnangagwa is expected to preside over the ground-breaking ceremony of a 16 000-seater St Noah Stadium and Sports Centre in Marange today.

He is also expected to address thousands of pilgrims from Johane Marange Church under Bishop Noah Taguta in the diamond-rich area of Manicaland.

This is the second time in less than a week that President Mnangagwa has visited Manicaland, drawing huge crowds in the ruling party’s cause to secure an overwhelming mandate for the harmonized elections expected in July.

On Saturday, the President addressed mega-rallies in Mutare and Buhera, with over 30 000 people having attended the Buhera rally at Murambinda Growth point.
