AFTER last registering a win at the Mashwede Open, seasoned professional golfer Davidson Elijah, who has been active in the Sunshine Tours’ Seniors Tour, will return home to add competitiveness in the Universal Sports Club, Zimbabwe Professional Golfers Association Championship at Royal Harare this morning. Elijah, a member of Chapman Golf Club, who has seen it all in the local golf, having won several tournaments, including the Hwange Open and Mashwede Open, says he is ready for the challenge.

The top professional will be expected to do well considering the way he has been performing in the Sunshine Tour where he has since joined the Seniors Tour. “I am back home and I am looking forward to this week’s ZPGA tournament at Royal Harare. The tournaments are coming now and it is good for us players as we can practice more and remain focused.

“The tournament will be a tough one but as a competition, everyone goes with one thing in his mind, that is to win. I have been working hard on my swing and putting and they are keeping on improving with each practice,” said Elijah.
