DYNAMOS forward, Eli lLunga, says his ambition is to make a huge mark at the club and he wants to improve last season’s goal tally.
The Glamour Boys are set to welcome newboys Sheasham at the National Sports Stadium on Sunday in a Castle Lager Premiership match.
This will be his second stint in the top-flight league after he emerged as the standout performer for Black Rhinos last season, forcing his way into the league’s best XI.
The 24-year-old played the entire game in their 1-0 league opener against Hwange at Barbourfield last weekend.
The uncertainty surrounding strikers, Jayden “JB” Barake and Nyasha Chintuli, will boost the chances of Ilunga to retain his slot in the starting line-up.
“It’s an honour and a privilege to be part of this big family and this is a dream environment for any player.
“I want to make a mark at this club, I don’t want to leave this club without making a meaningful impact.
“I think I have settled well and there are many good players around me who have the capacity to create good scoring chances all season.”
He said he was keen to win the Golden Boot, having scored 11 goals last season.
“I have set my objectives for this season and winning the Golden Boot is one of them.
“I want to add up the numbers a little bit by converting chances because last season I wasn’t satisfied with my performance and I feel like I can do better this season.
“It’s not going to be easy but that’s what I’m trying to achieve and it means extra work will be required.
“We have been training well this week and we are playing a side which might dent our good start but I believe if we can remain level-headed we can get a positive result.”
The Congolese forward made his first stop at FC Platinum but he was shown the exit door without featuring in any league game.
Chauya Chipembere gambled on him and it paid dividends as he helped the army side finish in a respectable position.
