Award-winning British R&B singer-songwriter Ella Mai is gearing up for a triumphant return to South Africa this April, where she will grace the stage with two exclusive performances that promise to electrify fans.
Ella Mai’s much-anticipated performances will kick off at the Sun City Superbowl on Saturday, April 25, as part of the exciting three-day Konka Kulture Weekend. Following her Sun City show, Mai will head to Cape Town for a second performance at the GrandWest on Sunday, April 26.
The timing of her performances coincides beautifully with the release of her third studio album, Do You Still Love Me? Critics and fans alike have lauded it as her most personal and emotionally resonant work to date. The album dives into themes of vulnerability, growth, and mature love, starting with the reflective opening track, “There Goes My Heart,” which reveals her desire to embrace love fully.
Among the album’s standout tracks is “Somebody’s Son,” where Mai showcases a softer, romantic tone, and “Might Just,” which embodies a more assertive stance, cautioning against dishonesty in relationships. Fans will also enjoy “100,” as well as other gems like “Little Things” and “Tell Her” .
