Emmanuel TV donates goodies to orphans

Speaking during the proceedings, Emmanuel TV partner Dr Ruth Labode said all churches should uphold a spirit of giving during this festive season.
“If all churches could give to the needy I think this country would be a wonderful place and there won’t be any suffering like what we are seeing now,” said Dr Labode.

The children were given presents that included toys, chocolates and sweets.
“It is a privilege to give something to somebody and for me to have this honour is a great pleasure,” said Dr Labode.

She said the children had been bused from suburbs which included Pumula, Nkulumane, Makokoba, Mzilikazi, Nketa, Luveve, Emganwini and Magwegwe.
The day’s activities were wrapped up with lunch for the children.

“This is a way of giving back to the society and to give these children a smile during this season. I implore other churches in Bulawayo to do something to help the less privileged,” said Dr Labode.
