This is the second show at the venue after the official opening held last week, which featured Peter Moyo and Utakataka Express.
In an interview, manager at the joint Andrew Morrison said the new nightspot would try to bring entertainment to the usually quiet town by inviting top-notch acts.
He said in the run up to the festive season they have lined up shows by the likes of Alick Macheso and Oliver Mtukudzi in order to create a festive mood among the people of the town.
“The venue is only at its infancy, but we already have brought top-notch entertainers with Kapfupi this week and Peter Moyo during our opening ceremony. We have already lined up performances by the likes of Macheso and Tuku for the coming month and a lot of surprises lay in store for people living in Zvishavane,” he said.
He said the club had a vision of bringing top notch entertainment to Zvishavane as they felt that the town was largely neglected when it came to entertainment and cultural activities.
He encouraged the people of Zvishavane to come in their numbers and support the club because it was an initiative that had been started with them in mind.
“The club wants to bring the best to Zvishavane because we feel like this is nothing less than they deserve after all these years of neglect when it comes to arts and culture.
“People should come to support the club because this is a place whose activities are dedicated to their enjoyment,” he said.
The show by one of Zimbabwe’s finest comedian-cum-musicians is scheduled to kick off at 8pm.
