ENTREPRENEUR and founder of the 40-member group Purple Pride Vocal Fusion, Albertt Mtengwa has launched a youth initiative dubbed God’s Blueprint Boot Camp aimed at building connections with like-minded peers on a shared spiritual and entrepreneurial journey.
According to Mtengwa, the annual initiative is hosted under Mtengwa NextGen Movement designed to empower young people spiritually and entrepreneurial over a transformative 3-day experience.
The initiative will be running under the theme: Raising a Generation Rooted in Christ.
“This initiative is held every year to nurture future generation firmly grounded in God’s principles, equipping them with fire and zeal to spread his word.
“The core vision is to foster a personal relationship with Christ beyond parental influence, ensuring a deep and authentic Christian Walk.
“We will be also equipping the youths with practical skills to navigate today’s economic and professional challenges.
“When it comes to cultural relevance, we will be breaking down misconceptions of Christianity by creating an inclusive space where every young person feels welcomed regardless of their fashion, style, or background,” he said.
Mtengwa said they also intend to combat the rise of drug abuse and the moral decline in today’s youth.
“We have to counter the trend of young people abandoning Christian values upon leaving home.
“We want the young people to move beyond church attendance driven by parental expectations to foster personal, meaningful connections with God.
“During our boot camps, participants will get life-changing sessions with renowned speakers and facilitators.
‘There will be fun and engaged programmes while building connections with like-minded peers on a shared spiritual and entrepreneurial journey.”
He is, however, calling for parents to partner in this cause to shape children’s futures.
Mtengwa expands his vision beyond music to transform more young lives.
“We are expecting to start with just 50 to make it exclusive since it’s the start.
“The ages should be between 18 to 35, and this is all about transforming lives, shaping generations.”
For over 13 years, Mtengwa has been at the forefront of youth transformation through Purple Pride Family, a dynamic gospel outfit whose projects have gained international recognition.
With a deep calling to empower young people beyond the stage, Albertt is expanding his mission through God’s Blueprint Boot Camp, a life-changing initiative designed to equip, empower, and ignite a generation that is deeply rooted in Christ.
“Many young people grow up in the faith, pushed by parental expectations, but few develop a personal relationship with God beyond that.
“As a recent Bible College graduate (Class of 2024) and a newly ordained pastor, I believe it’s time to reach young people where they are, outside the confines of music, in spaces where they can engage, ask real questions, and find their own conviction in Christ.”
By the end of the camp, Albertt Mtengwa envisions at least 50 young people stepping out with a renewed passion for God and a practical roadmap for financial independence.
“Through interactive activities, networking, and relevant, engaging preaching, the boot camp aims to make the Gospel real, relatable, and powerful for today’s generation.
“This is not just another church event; it’s a movement to keep the fire of faith burning in young hearts.
“Young people must recognise that their greatest asset is their mind.
“This boot camp will equip them to think innovatively, take ownership of their future, and create wealth that fuels their personal and ministry ambitions.
“The goal is to develop a generation that not only worships God with zeal but also has the resources to sustain their vision.”
