A local entrepreneur who is into vehicle towing has registered his company TowJam in Zambia as he intensifies to target the regional market.
Trevor Jambawo, the Chief Executive Officer for TowJam Private Limited, is also advancing towards establishing a new base in South Africa.

“I formed TowJam Private Limited in March 2021 with one truck due to limited funds, but l got a second truck eight months later with the help of the first truck. Within a year and a half, TowJam has amassed an audience of approximately 11,000 followers across all its media platforms.

“During this time, we have towed over 1,000 vehicles. We have towed cars as far as Johannesburg. “We have 40 reviews on Google, the second highest after Road Angels’ 56 reviews, despite being in the industry for less than 2 years,” he said.

Jambawo believes the quality of TowJam’s service is behind their success story.
“The company takes good care of its employees, who, in turn, take good care of their clients”, he said.
The company is looking at tapping into new markets to keep growing. The company is inspired by Crouch Recovery, which was established in 1948 up to date.
“The company is motivated by offering a reliable and affordable service, creating employment, making a positive difference to its employees’ families and contributing to the country’s development,” he added.
The young entrepreneur is also targeting employing the youths.
