A 35-year-old man from Tsholotsho drowned in a 1,2 metre deep pool after suffering a seizure while fetching water.
Officer Commanding Lupane Police, Chief Superintendent Johannes Govo said Cephas Sibanda was in the company of two boys aged 12 and 10 when he fell into the pool.
“The trio left their homestead on April 16 at around 8AM to look for water at a nearby pond.
“The deceased was epileptic so he had a seizure while trying to fetch water which led him to fall into the water, and drown” he said.

Chief Supt Govo said the two boys went back to their homestead to inform their guardians who immediately went to the pond to retrieve his body.
On arrival the guardians found Sibanda already dead.
