The Kingdom of Eswatini has intensified efforts to attract Zimbabwean investors to the second edition of the Eswatini Investment Conference (EIC 2026), with organisers saying the event will unlock new investment opportunities and strengthen regional economic cooperation.

The conference, to be held from July 29 to 31, 2026 is expected to bring together investors, financiers, policymakers and business leaders from across Africa and beyond to explore investment opportunities in Eswatini’s priority economic sectors.

Speaking during the Activation Roadshow for the conference in Harare on Wednesday, Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) chief executive officer Mr Sibani Mngomezulu said the gathering will build on the success of the inaugural conference by connecting investors with bankable projects.

“This information session will provide a guide on how to participate in the Eswatini Investment Conference 2026. The conference is a platform where vision meets opportunity and ideas are transformed into reality,” he said.

Mr Mngomezulu said the roadshow formed part of preparations for the conference and was aimed at positioning Eswatini as a competitive investment destination while strengthening partnerships with regional and international investors.

“We are not just here to talk about the investment conference, we are here to ignite partnerships and position Eswatini as a strategic investment destination,” he said.

Mr Mngomezulu said the conference will provide an opportunity to showcase investment opportunities across key sectors while facilitating engagements capable of translating into quality investment outcomes.

He urged the Zimbabwean business community and development partners to support the initiative by promoting the conference and encouraging wider participation.

“We see you as key enablers in helping us reach the right audiences, attract quality participation and build lasting economic linkages,” Mr Mngomezulu said.
He said EIPA has established a dedicated conference website to facilitate access to information and registration for delegates ahead of the event.

Mr Mngomezulu said the authority’s vision was to connect investors and financiers with viable projects that would drive sustainable economic growth.
“As we prepare for EIC 2026, we are guided by a simple but powerful idea — to connect investors and funders with projects,” he said.

“This means bringing together the right partners, the right ideas and the right environment to unlock meaningful and sustainable growth.”

Mr Mngomezulu said Eswatini offered significant investment opportunities across a number of sectors and expressed confidence that the conference would result in meaningful partnerships and increased capital inflows.

“We therefore beseech you to work with us to make this event a catalyst for quality investment, real partnerships and lasting value,” he said.
