Two arrested at Hwange bus terminus over 10kg dagga

ALERT Hwange police detectives have arrested a 41-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman after they were allegedly found in possession of 10 kilogrammes of dagga at Hwange bus terminus.

The two, Never Shoko (41) and Blessing Ndlovu (38), were arrested on Saturday following an operation by detectives from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Drugs and Narcotics,.

In a statement, police said the suspects were arrested after detectives intercepted a bus at Hwange bus terminus.

“On 15/08/2026, detectives from CID Drugs & Narcotics, Bulawayo intercepted a bus at Hwange bus terminus and arrested Never Shoko (41) and Blessing Ndlovu (38) in connection with unlawful possession of 10 kilogrammes of dagga,” police said.

The dagga was concealed in washing powder boxes.

Police urged members of the public to continue providing information on drug-related activities to law enforcement agencies.
