Multi-award-winning gospel musician Everton Mlalazi is celebrating another career milestone after his hit worship song Munondida Ndakadaro surpassed one million views on video-sharing platform YouTube.
The song, which features on his 2026 album In The Presence 3: Great God, has resonated with worshippers across Zimbabwe and beyond through its powerful message of God’s unconditional love, grace and faithfulness.
Loosely translated as “God, You love me just as I am”, Munondida Ndakadaro expresses gratitude for God’s unwavering love despite human weaknesses, mistakes and shortcomings.
The heartfelt worship anthem reflects on God’s continued protection, favour and faithfulness even when it is undeserved.
Reacting to the milestone, Mlalazi thanked his supporters for embracing the song and helping spread its message around the world.
“What an incredible testimony of God’s faithfulness and your unwavering support. Every view, every share, every comment and every prayer has been part of this journey.
“Thank you for believing in the message behind this song and for helping it reach hearts across the world. To God alone be all the glory,” said Mlalazi.
The song has enjoyed remarkable success since its release, spending three consecutive months at the top of the Star FM Gospel Greats chart.
Earlier this year, Mlalazi also launched the Munondida Ndakadaro Open Verse Challenge, which attracted entries from aspiring musicians. Up-and-coming singer Triciah Jonas emerged the winner, walking away with a US$1 000 cash prize after finishing first in the competition.
