Zeus and Kold Produk visit to Zimbabwe with organisers saying they were in talks with South Africa’s duo of L-Tido and Lungile Radu who stars as S’bu on popular soap Rhythm City.
“We have a very special guest coming all the way from South Africa; I assure you that this year we are going to have a much bigger and exciting ceremony.
“It’s gonna be really crazy as we have billed up a couple of stars to both perform and grace the awards. As I’m speaking right now Zeus and Kold Produk have already confirmed,” said Beefy.
Zues took music seriously since his exit from the Big Brother house. He released a couple of videos and collaborations that are being aired on Channel O, MTV and Trace TV.
Zeus is also likely to feature on a couple of road shows in Mutare, Bulawayo and Harare lined up just a few days before the event kicks off in a bid to advertise and as an awareness programme about the awards to the whole nation.
“Just like BETs, Zim hip-hop awards will incorporate everyone from the Zim hip-hop fraternity to be applauded and honoured for the good work,” added Beefy.

Aldrian said that the organising team had since sent letters to the Minister of Media, Information and Publicity Webster Shamu and the Minister of Youth Development, Indigenisation and Empowerment Savior Kasukuwere inviting them to be guests of honour.
The night will glow with performances by artists from major cities who have been making noise on both the streets and on all local radio stations.
Organisers of the event promised fireworks and were calling for the corporate world to come in their numbers to support local hip-hop.
“It could have been much more exciting if we had people who are willing to sponsor the event. We are still looking for sponsorship from the corporate world,” added Kevin Kumire.
