Former Mighty Warriors skipper and defence marshal Nobuhle Majika is appealing for US$300 in order to attend a CAF D coaching licence course in South Africa.

The course runs from 17 to 25 October.

“I feel I need to impact what I have done as a footballer to the next generation. I have represented my country probably at the highest level (Olympics) and it’s time to impact the knowledge to the next generation. I have been accepted to attend a CAF D course in South Africa but financial resources are my challenge,” said Majika, who was part of the history-making Mighty Warriors side that qualified for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.

She was also a key member of the 2016 Afcon finals squad in Cameroon.

“I am not growing any younger, my legs can’t carry me in perpetuity but my brain and knowledge can. This course will equip me with the necessary skills. I am appealing to anyone who can assist in realising that dream,” said Majika, who is player-assistant coach at Mpopoma Sports Academy, which plays in the Zifa Women’s Premier Soccer League.
