Ex-minister Chigwedere, businessman Chigumba succumb to Covid-19

Former Education Minister and Mashonaland East Governor Aeneas Chigwedere has succumbed to Covid-19.

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Deputy Minister Cde David Musabayana confirmed the death but could not give further details.

In a related development former Zanu PF Chitumgwiza legislator and businessman Cde Christopher Chigumba died on Thursday night at a local hospital where he had been admitted.

His son Takudzwa confirmed the death, saying details about the burial arrangements were to be availed in due course.
