FORMER Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe senior advisor and Bikita West legislator Dr Munyaradzi Kereke has died.
He was 54.
Dr Kereke died yesterday in Harare following a stroke.
He rose to prominence in Zimbabwe’s financial sector after serving as a senior strategic advisor to former RBZ Governor Dr Gideon Gono, before venturing into politics.
Dr Kereke contested the Bikita West parliamentary seat on a Zanu PF ticket in the 2013 harmonised elections and won, becoming a Member of Parliament.
